Notes: * First Moiety Payment (22 weeks) to be made No later than 5pm on the 15th of August 2008. **Second Moiety Payment (16 weeks) to be made No later than 5pm on the 7th of December 2008.
Booking / Security Deposits: The following is payable to secure accommodation: A booking/cancellation/damage deposit of €755 is payable on securing room which is made up of the following; A refundable security/damage deposit of €300 against damages and missing items at the end of the academic year. A prepayment of €250 for electricity. A non-refundable €205 Utilities Charge. This covers the cost of such payments as Cable TV, T.V Licence, Incoming Telephone, Internet Access and Refuse Collection.
Rental Payments: The first payment must be paid in full by 5pm 15th of August 2008. In the case of 1st year CAO applicants, this period is extended to 3 days after first round offers. The room and deposit will be automatically forfeited in the case of accounts not paid by this date. The second payment must be made by 5pm 7th of December 2008.
Electricity: Bills are divided equally between residents and deducted from prepayment. ESB bill is then paid by Gort na Coiribe administration office. A copy of each ESB bill will be forwarded to each unit.
Conditions of Occupancy: All students enter into a standard Lease Agreement with his/her Landlord. The Student is obliged to follow the Village Rules, which outline the Rules & Regulations in place for the development. All Residents are obliged to conform with the rules and regulations in place with the development. Residents are also responsible for the behaviour of their guests while on the complex. USI has teamed up with Cover4Students.ie, the student insurance company, check out their website for further details. Please note that applications will be accepted only for the entire occupancy period to May 2009. No refunds of rental will be made in the event of early vacation.
